Rainbows on a Snowy Day: Hawaii on My Mind

Rainbows on a Snowy Day: Hawaii on My Mind

It's cloudy, snowy, windy and overall cold here on the East Coast. I just received a few text messages from a friend who's spending the winter season in Hawaii; therefore, Hawaii has been on my mind. Especially today. It happens often, to think of better places whenever we find ourselves in a tough place... Either way, I'd like to share with you a few images from the Hawaiian Islands, from Aloha State, President Obama's home state or, how others call it, from the Land of Rainbows...

Hope you enjoy the images.
As always, thanks for visiting,

  1. Thanks Anthony! Hawaii is a fantastic place, plan on going back, revisiting some of the islands (Big Island of Hawaii is a must-see, always) and maybe visiting some new islands, too... who knows. Thanks for your kind comment!

  6. Short note right before the State of the Union Address given by President Obama (a Hawaii native): I noticed that a day after I posted this post there was a magnitude 5.0 earthquake on the Big Island of Hawaii, as Yahoo News announced it and also lots on Twitter. Hope everybody is safe in Hilo and Hawaii Island.

And now let's watch. Barack Obama, President of the United State has just been announced and entering the House of Chambers... Happy viewing!
