Sandy Prep: Preparations for Hurricane Sandy

Anticipating that I may be inside for the following days, I took a short walk this morning, to see what's going on. Day was gray. Air was cold. Wind was blowing everywhere and water level was on the rise.

But it seemed that there was some activity along the Hudson. Here are a few Hurricane Sandy prep images:
