New York, NY. My favorite city! I'm very much aware of how lucky I am to be living in this spectacular city, and I do count my blessings.

Each year I promise myself that I'll go out more, camera in hand, to discover or rediscover parts of the Big Apple. When some wonderful friends visited me, I took them on an Angels in America tour, showing them the Bethesda Angel in Central Park, City Hall area, and so on.

Although fall is the best season to explore NYC, any day is a good day to go out. Also, some of the best views of Manhattan are possible not from inside Manhattan, but from across the river(s), from the pedestal (or crown) of Miss Liberty, the Staten Island ferry, or the Circle Liner.
While I'm sure I'll be adding more images of Manhattan and New York City, for now, here are a few I've taken over the years.

...Or I should say "Wintry Weather." Either way, baby, it is cold outside. And windy, too. Polar Vortex or not, one thing is for sure: it is January, and it is the Northeast. Hence, it's freezing. And it's gonna stay this way for a few good months. I can only hope that April won't be too cold.

Here are a few images I've taken over the years during the winter blizzards and other snow storms. Hope you enjoy them, and hope you stay warm.

As always, thanks for stopping by. Oh, and a Happy and Prosperous 2014 to you all!

PS: Today I was preparing lunch, when I noticed frozen snow accumulated by the window seal, inside the kitchen.
